Is it over?

Is this week over yet? This has been the longest week EVER!!! During this week, I hurt my back, caught a sick bug and now am losing my voice. Sheeshh, can the weekend please come faster!!!...... I must say I am feeling somewhat better today despite my voice. Since I finally felt better and it was SO nice today, I decided dinner should be outside. So we decided to try the new Crab Trap. We sat outside by the bay. It was SO relaxing and yummy. Then we went for a little walk. I love when the weathers nice! It's a nice perk of living in Florida!

In pain but still blessed!

Man, I must be getting old b/c Saturday I just bent over and my back snapped. It's Monday and I am still in horrible pain! Hopefully it will heal its self and I will not have to make a doctors visit. But I still can't help but smile b/c today is me and Bryan's 3 month anniversary!! I can't believe it's 3 months. I feel like we've only been together for a short time but yet time is flying by! I truely am blessed to have him in my life. I thank God daily for him!!!!

I was surprised, I got a basket too!

Okay, I already know what you're thinking. You're thinking 'Merry Easters" sounds crazy. Well it does!! But the girls came up with it and I think it was said over a 1000 times this weekend. Every store we went into or after every fish we caught, we said it, laughing of course. After that if kinda grew on me!

This past weekend was amazing! Early Friday, me and Bryan went to pick up the girls. After we got them, we headed to the park to play some soccer. About 40 minutes later we were all tired, so we headed to blockbuster got some movies, then got some ice cream and headed to Jay. Once we got to memaw's, we decided to go fishing! We were catching fish left and right. We didn't keep any because Bryan didn't feel like cleaning them. But if we were to have had a fish fry, we would have had plenty for everyone!! That evening we dyed Easter Eggs and Bryan made one that looked just like him. You will see what an artist he is! HA HA Saturday Bryan and I took his mom's place b/c she wasn't feeling well and we helped hide easter eggs for their church hunt. It was fun b/c we had a HUGE area to hide them in. Then at 10, the girls came and did the hunt. After we went back home, we went back to fishing. Those fish loved us!!! That's all I'm saying. Later on, all his family came over for Easter dinner and another egg hunt for the younger ones. That night we were all so tired, we watched a movie and crashed! Sunday we went to Olive to celebrate Easter. It was an excellent service! All I have to say is that, praise God, for we serve a King who's alive!!!

Even though I wasn't with my family for Easter I was completely satisfied being with Bryan and the girls! It's beginning to feel like home to me!!!

The Sweetest Thing

Today I was getting a manicure when I saw the sweetet thing ever. I noticed an older woman getting a pedicure and manicure but by her side was her husband. They were quite older and she looked as if she had had a stroke or something but her husband was right by her side. When they got finished painting her nails, her took her hand and started blowing on it. Then he lifted it for her and said, "Isn't that pretty!" He spoke in such a gentle voice. Then he started putting her socks and shoes on. It literally brought tears to my eyes. I had to stop watching or I would have started crying. What a beautiful picture of love!

My parents, I love them! My little girly!!

So, I am back from visiting my family in Indiana. It was a great trip but it just flew by. The cool thing was that I got to bring Bryan home with me. He got to meet my family and friends. Saturday night we had a cookout and my whole family came over. They all loved Bryan. Sunday we went to church, did some shopping and later met up with a friend. Monday we had lunch with my grandparents, then had a birthday dinner for my dad at a steakhouse. I always enjoy being home! It was a great trip!

Monday night we celebrated my dad's birthday. He turned 62 and I can't believe it. He sure doesn't look like it, at all!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY-O

New Heading

When I read my new heading, I can't help but chuckle to myself. It all started when my family nicknamed me, amy doodle. Terah was shopping one day and saw this notebook titled "The Doodle Diary". Terah then told me that I needed that notebook b/c of my nickname. Well we started talking and came up with the heading of my blog. It's just funny!
