Panama City

Lets see, I don't even know where to start at about this past weekend. I could probably make a whole book but I won't. Well when Steph and I got there, the key to the condo didn't work, thanks Erin!. But It was actually a blessing because Erin's mom had to drive out to let us in and when she did, water was all over due to the next door condo's leakage. So she had to deal with that while we went to Wal-mart for groceries. Let me tell you, if you ever want to see interesting people go to the Wal-mart in Panama City beach. WOW, great people watching!... I got to share an elevator with two women, basically holding up a huge, sick biker dude. They were so country, all I understood was the word brotha. But my friend Stephanie from Alabama said she understood them. HAHA...... It was biker weekend, so all weekend we hear bikes and loud engines. Our joke was, "Whada ya say?"...... Oh yeah, I almost got smashed between two elevator doors. HAHAHA Glad I lived to tell about that...... Saturday as we were all sitting around the pool, this little boy came right up to Charity and ask her to walk with him in the pool. Out of all of us girls, he just knew she was soon going to be taken so he had to try. It was so cute. When he left, he said , "you my girlfriend?" It was precious! ..... Later that night we all got ready to go out for dinner but since Charity was the bride to be, she was a little dresses up. Well as we walked to the beach for pictures, the reactions were quite different. Don't forget it's all bikers. These are what we heard, "That sure is deep water" Hope you know what your getting into" and my favorite " Oh SH**, congrats!" We heard nothing normal from these people. We couldn't help but laugh...... Okay so are you getting it? We had a blast and I still have more stories, you'll just have to wait. I'm tired of typing. The rest shall come later!

Sharing a Verse

Has God ever given you a verse that you needed? Well God is such a great God even when I am not worthy of it. He gave me two verses that I needed badly, so I have written them down and will be looking at them all during the week. Hopefully this way, I will memorize them. I challenge everyone to memorize a verse each week. I know that is something I rarely do, so I challenge myself too. Here is the verse. Maybe it will help you in some way as well!

Psalm 13:5-6

But I will trust in your unfailing love, my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord for He has been good to me.

This weekend a group of girls set out to spend one weekend in Panama City celebrating Charity Kyle's bachelorette party. I never expected to have this much fun. It's now Sunday night and I'm about to fall asleep as I type. This weekend was full of hilarious stories! All of which I will share in a later blog. Have you ever laughed so hard that you cried and when you finally came up for air, your side and or cheeks hurt? Well, there was plenty of that! And plenty of beautiful sunshine! So I will leave you with a picture and I promise so much more is to come.

Saturday Night Dinner

Almost Friday, YAY!!!

I am SO excited! Tomorrow I will wake up, and it will be Friday. YAY! This weekend I have planned a girls get away trip to Panama City for Charity's Bachelorette Party. Laying out by the pool and just having fun with girls, is much needed before the count down starts for the wedding. My friend Brie made an amazing cake, which I can't wait to show Charity. Brieanna is extremely talented. Thanks Brie!!!...... Tomorrow is also John Chapman aka Johnny Appleseed's birthday. At school, us 2nd teachers have some fun activities plan, so that should make the day go much faster!... Tilll next time, have a great weekend! I know I will :)

Monday = Headache

So, it's another Monday. Monday's just come way to fast! This Monday was literally a head ache that just won't leave. For a week, I have had this head ache that comes and goes. It really is a pain!!!! I just pray it leaves for good!.... Me and Erin adventured out for a run this evening. It had just rained, therefore it was so humid. I literally thought I was going to need oxygen. Maybe because I hadn't run in ages or maybe b/c there was no air to breath. But either way it was torture. You know what though, it was all worth it in the end. I felt accomplished! Now I am going to enjoy my wonderful evening of Monday night tv with Gossip Girls, John and Kate and The Hills.

House Sitting....

Occasionally I get a chance to house sit for a teacher that I work with. The great thing about this, is that they have an in ground pool. So Saturday Erin and Stephanie came over for some fun in the sun. The pool was a little to cold for me, but they enjoyed it. Girl talk by the pool is always good stuff. Then Steph and I got ready and I took her to my favorite place, New York and Deli. It's one of those local places that has character. Then we went and had dessert and sat outside chatting away. I'm so glad that the weather has cooled off somewhat!! Having great girl friends are a necessity! So I must say I enjoyed my Saturday.

Everyone's doin it......

Okay, so everyone and their mother is blogging these days. And I can't lie, I enjoy reading them. It's a easy way to keep in touch with people. So, I'm going to attempt to start my own blog. I can't guarantee I will write often, but I will try. My next few weeks are filling up very quickly, so check back soon to hear all about my busy life!
