Sister Time

She wasn't in the mood to smile
Friday after school, Bryan and I took Terah to The Atlas to eat dinner. She really loved it since she was able to get seafood. Then we went to see the movie "Knowing". It was just okay. I am not a big Nicolas Cage fan but I actually made it through the movie without falling asleep which is big. Saturday Terah and I went shopping in Malbis. It was good times. Then that evening we took her to Jerry's Dinner. I'm all about taking her to local restaurants. Today we headed to Destin. She wanted some beach time, so she got it but only after we ate at the Donut Hole. That is our favorite place in Destin. Is was a little windy, which made it cold, but it was tolerable! It has been a great weekend! Spring Break starts this coming weekend, so I am very excited about that!

Friday night I was able to have dinner with Jodi and some of her other friends. She was just in town for the weekend visiting. It was good to see her, plus we ate at Texas Roadhouse, YUMMY!!...... Then I was SOOO set on going to the beach on Saturday, that as soon as I woke up, I got dressed for the beach and headed out. Well, when I got there around 10:45, I noticed people in sweatshirts and the flags blowing. As I got all situated on the beach, I suddenly felt the sand pelting me. The wind was so strong, the sand was blowing onto everything and it was cold!! I was so MAD!!! I was there for about 30min and then though, screw this, I have better things to do!! I will try the beach next weekend. I went home, took a shower, and headed out to Jay. We just took it easy in Jay. We made crafts, played soccer, played scrabble, and watched SpongeBob. I had never played scrabble before and it was actually really fun. It was a relaxing Saturday. Oh yes, Friday was mine and Bryan's 2 month anniversary. God is good. I thank him daily for this man!!!! I am extremely blessed!!

Quiet Weekend... Just what the doctor ordered!!

This weekend was just what I needed. I had no plans except to take it easy. Friday night we had dinner at good old Jerry's and then went shopping. At about 8, we headed to block buster, got some movies and headed home. Saturday and Sunday were rainy old days, perfect for just sitting at home, doin nothing. Saturday we went to The Village Inn for YUMMY breakfast. Then we headed to the grocery for some stuff for dinner. We headed back home and took it easy. We watched the movie Australia, which was 3 hours. So I must admit, I sleep through most of it, and poor Byran just endured the longest time of his life, so he says. His excuse why he didn't stop it was b/c he didn't want to wake me up. WHATEVER:) Then at about 6, we grilled sausage, steak, and pork chops. It was SO yummy. After church on Sunday, I did what I do best, sleep! Then we went to Texas Roadhouse for a friends birthday. It was such a great weekend of doing absolutely nothing but being completely content and 100% satisfied!!! Everyone needs a weekend like that!

Swinging is fun!!!! Me and Madeylynn
On Wednesday night, after dinner with the girly's , we went to the park. I must say I love the warmer weather. It was really a great time. But let me tell you, taking a normal picture with Bryan and the girls in nearly impossible!!! They are all so the goofy. In almost every picture someone is being silly. But I do LOVE it!! Hanging out with them is something I always look forward too!

Weekend Get Away

We got make-overs but you can't really tell here
Me running the killer stairs, don't let them fool you. Me and my roomie
Friday after school, me and Erin headed to Nashville for a get away weekend. Having someone with me in the car was amazing. It went SO fast. I never want to do it alone again. We had a fun time girl talking, singing, and car dancing. Saturday we woke up and worked out. I introduced her to the stairs, that we did 3 times. Going up is like 160ish stairs. I must say, I'm a little sore. Then we went for some yummy breakfast. After that we heaaded back home, cleaned up and went shopping. We all got free make-overs from a Stilla Artist. It was fun. We all learned new things. Then we headed to downtown Franklin and had dinner at a irish pub. Then we headed to the mall, had some yummy cheesecake and saw the movie Taken. We got up this morning and went to the People's Church in Franklin, which I always enjoy. After church we headed to the California Pizza Kitchen. We sat right by Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. That was cool since I grew up with his music. After lunch, we did some more shopping. Once we were done, we rented some movies and decided to take it easy. So I'm laying on the couch and enjoying a restful evening. It has been fun but I can't wait to get back and see Bryan! I have missed him!!!!!

Meeting the Parents

This weekend was a special weekend! My parents came from Indiana for a short but fun weekend. Our weekend was full of eating. Friday night was at Peg Leg Pete's, Saturday was Panera and Beef o Brady's and Sunday was McGuires. It wasn't all about eating though. They got to meet Bryan and spend time getting to know him. They were really impressed with him. They think I've got me a good one, which I already knew! Bryan goes to Olive Baptist Church, so we went there with him on Sunday and I really enjoyed it. Sundat after lunch, we drove around downtown. It was a little windy, as you can tell in the pic. Over all it was a great weekend! Now I can't wait to take Bryan to Indiana and show him where I live!!!
