Check In The Box Gal

It was brought to my attention that I just might be a "Check The List Kind of Gal". Now you might be asking what exactly does that mean. This kind of gal or person is someone who has a list of things in life and their goal is to check one off at a time and go to the next, check and keep going. For example.......

college,check,

job, check,

marriage, check,

babies, check,

better house, check

better job - check, and so on.

As I thought about it more, it really started to bother me. These type of people just want more and more. Nothing truly satisfies these people because they constantly want more. Once a box is checked, it's on to the next thing. Now don't get me wrong, it's not wrong to have goals. But I just don't want to be someone who tries to plan out their whole future. I want to be trusting God in the here and now and allow Him to work right where I am at. Whatever box HE lets you check off, thank Him for that and be grateful. But don't live life unsatisfied because you can't reach one. Maybe God doesn't want that for you right now! I am going to try and throw my list away and allow God to direct my life!!! I have a feeling His boxes are much better!:)

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe that Christmas is almost here. Where has time seriously gone? Every year time flies by faster and faster. It honestly freaks me out!........... I am aware I haven't blogged forever. I haven't really felt like writing lately. I read so many other blogs and am blown away at how many great writers there are. Then I read mine and just laugh. I am by no means a writer!!!!! But I am going to try to write more in 2010, so that means I have a few more months to be blog lazy and then it's over. Laziness that is! I do think much more will be going on in 2010, that will be very exciting for me. I can't wait to share t2010 with my readers, that is if I have any! So lookout b/c I am going to become a serious blogger in 2010. Or so I hope! HAHAHA

Kids say the cutest things...

Tuesday, I gave a writing test at school. The kids were to write about their neighborhood, describing what their neighborhood was like. We have been working on giving details and describing things. Some of their writings were so cute, that I had to share parts of different writings. They definitely made me laugh!

You will find they aren't perfect but cute! I typed it just like they wrote it.

....... I get it all for only 10.00$ "SNAP"! This is a blast today.....When I get home from school I go to the park I run as fast as I can go then I go "PLOP"! in the sand as so hard I can take the sand out.............When I hit the golf ball it goes "ZOOM"!........ When I climb the trees you can hear the nooses the branches make rick-crack. The exsitment that roshes threw my hart. I love it! When my hart thoping cause it tickles me,.......... This girl is talking about KFC. The chicken is short as a baby dogs tale. KFC is one of the chicken of my life!............I usually get a straberry milk shake. The milk shake is vacant in a secont I go SLURP!...... I like going outside out side and smeeling the fresh sweet smeel outside,

Not much to say these days

Well I haven't really had much to blog about lately! Life is good! I got a nice surprise on Sunday that I would not be having school on Monday or Tuesday due to Ida, plus Wednesday is Veterans Day. So I have been enjoying these days off. It's been WONDERFUL!!! I have got lots gone plus much needed extra sleep!! It really would have been nice if Bryan could have been off to but I can't have everything. ........ I can't believe it's almost time for Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Where has the time gone. Then it will be January, and that's our 1 year anniversary!! And I know 2010 will be an amazing year!!!!! :)

Cooler Weather!!!

Can I just say that I LOVE cooler weather!! For some reason, cooler weather just puts me in a wonderful mood! I tried to spend as much time as I could outside on Saturday! I was excited, b/c I helped Bryan and his father plant a food plot for the deer. It was something I had never done before. I love learning new things!! Then that evening we had a weenie roast! Once all the hot dogs were roasted, we took them inside and ate them with the chilli that Bryan made. To be honest, I had never ever eaten Chilli before. I just told myself that I hated it but Bryan made a pot with no beans just for me, so I had to try it. It was really yummy though!!! So overall, it was a great restful weekend!
